ya it is asphalt based, i helped a friend put a layer of it in his celica and drastically reduced the rattling and had a noticeable increase in spl and bass response inside

ThanKs!
There actually two 12" W6's, i used the LMI Seat lift. I think the lift on it is 2.5"s.

This new box is so much better, Low is right, "KISS" (keep it simple stupid).

lol i know that feeling of never being satisfied, especially when it comes to stereos, i was thinking bout doin something for my next truck.... do the seat lift and box like you have it, but have it flow into a center console for more air space and port it, lots of work but it would pound while looking somewhat factory.... im suprised those subs fit though, whats the depth?

Yea, i was thinking about adding a third one, but my amp wont power them correctly becuase the OHM load will be to high.

the mounting depth is 7.6 and yes it is a tight fit. but it fits. i cant really bump it crazy loud with the seat down or it will hit. i will take pictures of the box with the seat down.

lol suck you didn't think about excursion

should made the box a hair lower but deeper so it takes up the space the seats need to fold up

I need someone to build me a box. Here is what I'm looking for

I want to be able to install 1 10" or 12" JL Woofer (500W RMS is good for me)
I only want it to sit behind the driver side of the truck. I dont want it going all the way across and have to relocate my jack.
I also need the seat to be able to go back down.

Who can help me?
