Me personally I would never do 18's or 15's. 12's the sweet spot for SQ IMO. Not too loose to hit the quick punches and not too tight to miss the low rumble. If you do end up getting 18's you have to get some 8's to fill in the midbass. 10's are also pretty nice but a bit tight for my taste. If I had your chance right now I'd jump on the new SI mags with a sundown amp get some solid front speakers like the Polk SR line and a high end front amp. If you can swing a 5.1 headunit do that. 5.1 audio dvds sound amazing in my truck.

I've got friends with booming system, but having a SQ setup really makes mine shine leaps and bounds over the booms.

Some stuff most don't have
Start with theseSomething No One else has.
There actually more like a 7"than an 8".
You wont find a better speaker for the price

Add these

Then go here, and Choose your flavor.

With any luck my AudioPulse Epic 12d2's will be in my hands in a couple of days

Now, the sky is the limit for tweets for what ever your ears prefer? maybe silk or metal or ?
Then use those install skills and that discount of yours for some amps,Now were talking.

Ahh you could get the v3 mags i'm sure with folks moving to the v4. Shoot if I could sell these BM12's I'd be stepping up to the v4 mags also. Well maybe sooner than that if I can get this Ford Escape sold.

300 bucks laid it at my front door. Supposed to be in mint shape...we will see when I get home-the pics of it looked like it was new. Hopefully my dog doesnt **** on it or something before I get home....

BUT...Its at my house.....Im gone till the weekend after this (23-24th is when I will get home).
I might try to throw together an all MDF box at that time to get it in and going. I really want to rip that panel off my back wall and fiberglass around it though...

You know me all too well though.....it will probably be next year before I even get a listen at it

MFer should Fn **** and sound like secks-Im fairly excited about it.

Nice. I cant even get a boner over the BMs anymore, taking too long. A buddy is hooking me up with some JL 10w1v2s to hold me over until the BMs are out.

Should have the front stage and deadening done within the next 2 weeks.
