Here is an idea I am tossing around.

Hybrid Audio Legatia L841 - 3 Pro - 1119.99 a set
Audiopulse Epic 12 (either 2 or 4... ) 198 per
SAZ 1500 (maybe 2 just depends on ^) - 479 per
SAX 100.4 (2) - 379 per

Damplifier Pro 320 sqft - 719.98
Overkill Pro 90 sqft - 219.98

Approx 3-4g. Missing anything?

Wires will all be KKR Hyperflex already own enough spools.

Hell, I could go Polk PA series amps too...
PA 500.4 (2) - 204.98 per
PA 1200.1 - 307.48

Low, I've never had the chance to listen to any HAT speakers, but at that price you should also consider the Dynaudio Esotec 362 System and the DLS Iridium 3-way sets. Both are well reviewed and are big winners in SQ events.

I was able to get a Dyn 362 set authorized for below the price you listed for the HAT set, just a fyi. I'm not knocking on the Legatia's, just suggesting you explore all options. I'm sure the Legatias are very nice as well.

As for subs, check out the Morel Ultimos. Supposed to be very high SQ with the ability to get loud. I actually have an Ultimo 12 (now if I can just get it installed*sigh*) that I plan on using. The down side would be that the are rated to handle 1000W, but it's a 4ohm setup.

I think the Sundowns are a good choice, but there are tons of great amps available. Like bartak, I'm a fan of Arc, and would love to be able to run their SE's.

Also I'm sure you already know, but I would check out diymobileaudio.com's for sale section. There are some fantastic deals available over there on awesome equipment. I actually sold my Dyn's bnib on there for a little less than $900. It's also a slightly older crowd so it's not the minefield that ca.com is.

Finally, I know nothing really so all of the above you probably already have thought of, but I figured I would throw it out there.

I was going to suggest hitting up some car audio audiophile websites but I'm having a rather hard time finding anything dedicated to that myself. I got a car I'm restoring that is going to have a high end audiophile system also so this thread has really got me thinking.
