Installation Questions

Hey guys, I have installed 4 Pioneer speakers into my Focus. I am in the process of installing an amp right now and had some issues.

I won't be changing the head unit it the car. So for getting the signal from the speakers I will be installing a lineout converter behind the dash. Do I need a 2 channel converter or a 4 channel converter?

After the amp is installed I plan on installing an Infinity Basslink in a couple weeks. Will I be able to tap into the rear speakers for a signal to the Basslink?

Thanks

4 channel would be better because then you would keep your fade adjust. if you get a 2 channel you're also have to get 2 rca splitters

yes, just get another line out converter (2 channel) and use that to get a signal for the sub
so you are either going to need a 4 channel and a 2 channel, or 3 two channel line outs

I was hoping someone could tell me if this setup would be compatible with each other. It is going into a 2008 Focus Sedan.

Amp

Sub

Box

The only problem I could potentially see is the Sub says it needs 9.25" hole to fit in and the box is 9.125", but I figured I could possibly sand away that 1/8"?

Also installed already in the car are 4 Pioneer TS-A6970R powered by a Sony 4channel amp.

Could anyone offer advice?

The four channel would definately be better. Is there a stock sub?

No stock sub. Could someone let me know if that setup would work together.
