Very Small Box Question
I will agree NICE SUB!!! Just look at my sig.
x2 its a 1000x harder than a sealed box. Tuning to the car's resonant freq, port length, port volume, etc... ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK GOD FOR MY PORTACALC!!!

As for the sub, I believe what happened is a friend of his had a blown one and he put in a new system for the friend. The friend let him keep the blown sub, and he somehow returned it to JL for a new one. I'm not exactly positive if that's what happened but that is what I think.
I am not sure what type of amp to use? Any suggestions for it?
Would it be worth going with two subs in this box?

How is that this box that is so much bigger (I know it is for two subs, but it seems a lot bigger than two of the previous boxes together) and it has the same amount of air space per sub (.70)?

first of all i dont even think that box will fit under your seats....im quite positive too.....and if it says it has the same air space as that really small one you showed already then it might be that the box is not completely hollow...
Ok sorry guys, totally told you the wrong info, the subs a w1 not a w6 haha. I think I am gonna stick to just 1 sub for now rather than 2, unless you guys can persuade me (I have stock speakers for now). I plan on putting the amp behind the rear seat. I have seen a few other guys on here that do that.
Thanks for all the help. I really am looking for kinda of just an extra bump to it, and not really something thats going to really hit hard. I may put in aftermarket speakers, but I really am not sure if I am going to right now. Will 1 be enough to add that extra bass to it but at the same time give a nice bump when needed or no?
Also about how much is 6 db?

yea if it was a w6 llike you originally said i would say that you might be happy with one but since its a w1 (still a great sub) i would go two...and since it s a w1 it wont run you that much more
Ok (sorry that I really don't know too much about car audio) but would it be better to have a one w6 (will it fit in that small of a box) or two w1's (should I use the big single box or two of the small boxes?)
Any suggestions for an good amp to power the sub(s)?

I can say from my personal experience that 1 10" in a very small box was not enough for me. It was great for a a week or 2 then like Styx said it was "That's it?". I now have 2-10" in a Supercrewsound box and am very happy. There is nothing wrong with using the single sub and box and then if you choose add second sub and bigger box in the future. You aren't losing any money on the free box. Just make sure to have enough power in your amp choice to leave your options open. I chose a 500/1 and am happy.
