factory sub plug

My truck didnt come with the factory sub but i think i read somewhere that some of the trucks came wired for them anyway. Can some one post a pic of where the plug is in the back of a supercab in hopes that mine may have it there. Thanks

Did you ever find out? I'd like to find the power wire and use it for something else? Do you know where it might be and what color it is?

wow low...thanks so much for the help...i never woulda thought to do that. I have and all i have found is its in a slit in the carpet in the back. I looked in my truck and i dont seem to have a slit in the carpet. Now does that mean i dont have the plug at all or just no slit in the carpet.

tufftaco,

I have a '07 Harley with no rear sub.....I have found the connection under the rear drivers side seat. It was tucked up underneath the seat itself. Its only a small connection on a black cable so easily missed.

Hope you find it

Kev

I found a diagram on another thread that shows the SW power wire is colored VT-LB. What color is that?

Are there aftermarket subs that will fit clean under rear seats?

I'm not sure on the Sub plug but the wire is Violet with a light blue stripe. If that helps at all. Sorry everyone is too good to help.

I found it on my XL, so if my basic truck has it, then they all do. Its clipped to the harness in a dead end plug right behind the centre of the driver's seat. Pull up the mat and you'll find it.
