Max depth for front door speakers?

Max depth for front door speakers?
Anyone know the limit on speaker depth for the front doors (5.25") for an 04-08 F150?

What drivers? I have seen a dayton rs225 8" under the factory door panel with only a spacer like mentioned above. If you are going with a 5.25 or 6.5 then you have no problem.
