Vibration on Amp

Ha guys my 1K Alpine amp is mounted to my sub box in the middle of the cab between the 2 10" Kenwoods.
So today Im driving and jamming out on some heavy hitting bass and reach back and touch the amp not only does the thing put out some heat but the vibration on the amp from the bass is pretty severe will this crack the circuit board or make any problems ???

It is never a good idea to mount the amp directly to the box. The vibration will eventually wear out the internals on the amp.

it really depends how much the box flexes where your gonna mount it, it couldn't be too much worse than the vibrations an amp would see mounted to the sheet metal, youd be supprised how much vibration there is in a vehicle when your not isolated my a comfy seat

touche. Ya you got a point.

But still... A different mount is by far the better option. Agreed?

I'd be more worried about the box flex hurting sub performance

eventually Im gonna ditch the 8's, I can only get 131db out of them with 1800 watts, i'm thinking 4 12's in a 4th order bandpass with the same power
