more cone area than 2 15s with less moving mass per driver, stronger BL more efficient use of power and space

same reason i'm using 4 8's instead of 2 10's right now, problem with the 8s is they are mechanically limited, thermally they can take 450w of somewhat clipped abuse each but they bottom out with anything over 350ish watts and still lack the excursion i need. plus the sealed box is as inefficient as they get

the 8s have the sq I need for listening to music but lack the spl for rap
