Tweeter Installation on '04 F150

I know this is a basic question, but are the late model F150 front doors made to accept a 2" tweeter? I see there is one place that appears to be a screen passage for one, but cannot find any reference to what is behind that location. Will a 2" fit up there (component or otherwise)?????

Is there anything installed there now on a non-audiophile system? What size does it accept without the "wallow"?

1 " should be fine .. my brother just did this mod.. we used Double sided sticky tape and stuck them straight in.. Perfect fit..... but beware.. if your going to tie them into your front speakers... it will sound like your rear speakers are barely playing.... i dont know why.. im gueessing its a power issue... so we endeed up taking the tweeeters out..and just put some Memphis 3 ways and it sounds much better.. if you hoooked up an amp to the highs it would be much much better w/ the tweets..even better just buy a JL AUDIO COMPONENT SYSTEM $899 and full Range for the rear $799

Here's the link to the specs...

I'm thinking of getting a set for the front and running them off a 300/4 JL amp.
