Question Two 10" W3's?

How would two 10" w3's sound in a box under the rear seat? Also what would be better for design, up fire or down fire? And If i do down fire how much room between the sub and the floor? :o

I'm pretty sure w3's are to deep of a sub. You have to go with a shallow sub, w1's or jl has some new shallow mount's out and also mtx has some nice one's.

What kind of box do you have? I am going with the same setup, but can't really decide on whether to make a box or buy a premade one

www.musicmooseaudio.com got it on ebay. The sound is excellent for what it is. Some things could be better about it but for ease it was pretty much the only thing out there.

I have 2 JL 10w3v3's under the backseat of my 2005 supercrew downfiring, it can be done. They sound great, i have only pictures of the box and what i did to make them fit, more soon to come. I ended up with a mounting depth of 6.25 inches. The box from musicmooseaudio.com is a perfect match up as far as airspace goes and it sticks out about an inch more than it did without any modifications, but still no problem with leg room as before it was actually pushed back under the seat completely before and it sounds extremely well.

Proto do you have a seat lift? or does your seat sit up a little higher because even with the JL stealth box the seat sits up...it doesnt go down all the way and lock in when you have it in....
