I recently re-installed my RE SX in my truck. Its been in there for a few months with no problems, after installing it with the amp i just bought (JBL GTO 1201.1) i've got really worried. The sub sounds fine at low volumes & at higher volumes sometimes. But sometimes, the bass will cut out & the sub will jus start poppin. I don't keep the gain jacked up, i've taken good care of my sub, the bass on my headunit stays all the way down all the time. is my sub blown? if so or if not, what can i do to fix this? i'm not much of an audio guy, building boxes & installing systems is about as far as I can go, but technicalities like this...idk. please help, thanks

 

well, i took the sub back out re-inserted the speaker wires for an assured connection. then i turned my gain & bass boost down even more, gonna c wat it does now.
