How do you remove the front speakers on a 05 F-150

Newbie here....

I had a stereo and some speakers installed last year. It sounded great then but it now sounds like the left speaker only works when the volume is up around halfway or more. I had the guy check it out and he said there isnt anything wrong with it.

When I was young (many moons ago) I installed many of my own car stereo's. Things are very different today and I am afraid of breaking tabs on the door.

I want to unplug the speaker and plug my stock one back in to see if I am right or not.

Can you show me or point me in the direction, that will show me how to remove my front drivers side speaker?

Thanks.

All you have to do is remove the mesh thing in front of it. Slide a flat head screw driver under it and it pops right off. From there it's just 4 hex head screws that hold the speaker in place. Takes 2 minutes to get it off.

Thanks, I had read some posts that made me leary about breaking some tabs. Going to try it now.

There's a pry tab/slot on the top front of the grill,be careful the door plastic marks real easy

Or I just used my fingers at the bottom of the grill and wedge them in there and I got some big fingers, it's really that easy

Ive pulled them of a dozen times or so without breaking any tabs it's a pretty tough piece of plastic

Awesome! Thanks for the pics! I was able to remove it and put the stock speaker back in. It sounds the same. It sounds like I have more volume coming from the passenger side. It did not sound like this when I first had it installed. Any ideas?
