I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THESE I WILL BUY 2 OF THEM IN JUNE AND THEY WILL FIT UNDER THE SEAT WITH OUT A SEAT LIFT. THEY SHOULD SOUND GREAT! IS ANYONE ELSE STOKED?

The speaker is still like 13" in diameter, so the box has to be at least that deep, plus the thickness of the MDF (plus maybe some buffer zone of air?). Dunno about you, but I think that would probably stick out a little for me, too.

Hmm....those are cute.
2.5 inches of mounting depth is damn cool though, not gonna lie there. However, the 13.5 inches....plus another 1.5 for wood thickness MINIMUM is a 15 inch deep box as someone else said. Might take up a little extra feet space down on the floor.
