Window Rattle on reg cab
Window Rattle on reg cab
i have a 97 f150 reg cab with a sliding rear window and two tens i have the subs facing back words towards the rear of the truck and i get terrible window rattle and u can hear the subs pounding in the metal if i turn them around so they face the front of the truck will it stop the rattling?
Most likely, the rattle will be less but still there. Try turning the gains down on your amp a little and that could clear it up. That's the cheapest and easiest fix. The next best alternative is to Dynamat the rear wall of the cab. Keeps more sound in add eases the pound on bare metal.

1. Turn it down!
2. Sound deadening for the back wall.
3. Replace the back window sills, they are old and tired.
