started door speakers today

so far ive only done one because it got a little cold. getting the door panels wasnt too bad (send me a messages if you wanna know how) then it came down to the speaker it self and they def. werent the same size as the stock on so i had to figure out a way to mount it and i got some pics

might have been an easier way but this is what i did

ripped the grill part off the stock speaker, lined up the mounting holes from the new one onto the back of the old grill, took a blow torch and heated up a little metal poker thing and pushed it through the grill, from there i took the mounting clips and screws that came with it and just put it togeher...wasnt too bad at all and now it just screws in like stock

hers's the pics

pretty damn enginuitive. I would have just cut out a piece of mdf to match the factory opening and then cut the hole out for the new speaker, but that seems to work just fine.
