They sound 50x better once I reinstalled my 3Sixty.2. Its BT chip was messing up.

But im starting to like them more and more everyday. They still arent all the way broken in yet but damn. CANT WAIT TO GET THEM GLASSED IN, not chit mounted in the doors.

All is well here. No much going with the system. Too cold and too busy to work much on it. I have a box of Raammat and Ensolite that I can not get time to put on the doors and rear hatch of the MDX. I also bought a set of Zapco Reference components that I have yet to put in. Mainly because I need a 350.2 or 360.4 to power them. I am selling the DDX-7019. It's nice but just not for me. I am either going back to Alpine or I may go back to stock head unit and put in a 3Sixty, Cleansweep, Imprint, etc...

Low..Glad to hear the SR's are working out better for you. They are some of the sexiest speakers on the market.

But what are yalls thoughts of the KKR 04SSMB8 or 04SSMB6's?

And the KKR 05RS652's for a center channel??

havent listened to them in 2 weeks... But they were sounding pretty good... But not enough volume to suit me, I will prolly leave one set of XR's in the back doors amp them with a KKR 200.2, then I would love to put those 8's in the doors... And amp all fronts with a ECE XA4100.

Attention Low_e or other installers

Ok I know this is a little off subject, and I didnt think that it was worth starting a new topic over so here goes. I just bought some kicker KS13 tweeters with crossover, and was going to run a wire from the speaker to the crossover, then to my amp rack in the back of the truck. I had my door taken apart and had a peice of 12 guage house wire trying to get through the wire loom in the door when I came upon the comclusion that this must not be like any vehicle I have ever driven before, cause all the others were just a bunch of wires running through this one has what I call the antichrist of door connectors in it! (which you probably already know, just wanted to tell you what all I went through) So I put it all back together and the tweeters are still in the box. So I thought that you could help. What is the best way to get a wire through there without messing up the factory look? I have looked all over this sight, and the internet with searches and never found anything that really helped me. I have a 2005 scab 4x4 XLT. The amp is underneath the backseat, and the crossover is wherever I decide to put it once I get past that da$n connector. Its great that they put a nice little place to put the tweeter, but would be better if they left some room to run a wire! Thanks for any help!

Kicker makes an O.K. midbass, these days there are much better. If your going through the trouble of an 8" look at Dynaudio,DLS,Dayton,Peerless,Hertz,Seas a little more pricy but alot better free air midbass with 100watts any of these will sing

Yeah to me that wiring harness looks like the main power wiring harness for a Honda Civic or something, and its in our doors! But anyways, I think I found what I am going to do, just hook my infinity to the crossover, then to the tweeter. Then cut the wires that would go to the back of the headunit, and run a new wire from there to the amp and just amp the factory wires, Im only running about 75 watts to them anyways, and someone was saying that they would take up to 100, so yeah!

Youre jealous. And I wasnt going to buy those on discount. I found them cheaper. 100 for the 8's...

But I have thought about giving Don a holla for a price on the Hertz.

Dont hate on my prices. SRs cost me about 300...
