Are they worth nearly the 600 bucks you pay for them? no.
There are much better subs for lower prices out there.

Better sub for less not in my opinion...
Alpine Type X ...crap, Type R's Great but not better!
Audiobahns
In my peronal truck I paid for A Stealth Box with a 10w3v3 and 500/1
Always check your ammo before entering the battle!
I checked out the stealth box when I did my set up the first time. It sounded nice, looked good and stayed where it was for $600.

My 2 ED 11Kv's, dual 10" box came out to $260 shipped and sounded better than the stealth box.

When I moved up to 12"s, I sold the subs and box for $200 to a guy who heard my system at a truck show. He had a stealth box

Talking Everyone has there opinion!!

anaheim_drew: Dig the car seat!! x2
Where'd you find that?

As far as your 2 10's sounding better are you talking from an SQ or SPL stand point...

They should really have an SQ and SPL section on this fourm. So not to have battles of what which sounds better.
Because comparing SQ and SPL is like comparing apples to oranges. There not the same!!

You compare the JL W7 to a few mainstream subwoofers, sure it'll look impressive.

The guys from RealmOfExcursion decided to really put it to the test against a bunch of non-mainstream subwoofers, companies like Fi, RE, Rainbow, SI, ED etc and the W7 got railed in the majority of the tests, both SQ and SPL. The Fi Q (not Fi's best subwoofer) beat the W7 handily, and you can have one for $260 bucks...

Go check out their forums www.realmofexcursion.com go to forums, go down to the subwoofer section and check out the 12" challenge, and see how the W7 stacks up against actual high quality equipment...

The only thing I ? Is if they are so good at SQ and SPL...
Then why are the companys pics pretty much just showing them at SPL comps...

But for $260 not bad... Do they make a marine specific sub?!?

Thanks.. I love the car seat almost as much as my son. I think it shows you can look good with an infant seat in your truck You can get them from Kohls or look on ebay and there are 3-4 places that have actual stores who will price match and ship. Eddie Bauer Leather infant chair

As far as the 2 10" ED's being considered SQ or SPL... Can't say since that would be based on how each term is defined and by who.

Nice now that you see it even though you did not believe me in another thread.
It was a solid box even with the ugly grey carpet. I think the company went out of business. It was $109 shipped from Texas and I found the company on ebay....
