Door speaker help

I want to replace the door speakers in my 07 Screw. I have the factory woofer and may upgrade to another woofer later on but for now I just want to replace the doors speakers. I do not plan on adding an amp for the door speakers now but may in the future. I want the most bass out of the door as I can get. What size should I get? I've heard the alpine SPS-57C2 and Polk DB571 are good. Any other suggestions? I'm a fan of JL subs, are the are their door speakers any good? I also like JBL and Infinity. So many choices, I need help!!!!

Not trying to win any contests or anger the neighbors, I just like to feel my music.

I have JL XR doors for sale. Ya they are pretty good. However they do need to be amped. I have a 300/4 for sale too...

Also, what happens to the factory tweets when you replace the door speakers? Do they still work?

Door speakers aren't meant to reproduce Bass so much. Just get yourself a nice set of components and do yourself a favor and amp them. Subwoofer excluded, replace any speakers in the cab if your going to do the doors. I don't know where the speakers are located at since I have an Expedition and not an F150. If you can't afford the amp right away thats understandable. I amped mine later also but if I was to do it again, I would definitely save up and do it at the same time. A nice component set will also take care of your factory tweeter. Run your factory sub for your bass in the meantime.

I guess bass wasn't the correct term. I guess I 'm looking for better all around sound but in past experience most speakers like this have been mostly highs instead of mids.

I picked up some Polk DB571s tonight so we'll see how they sound.
