How do these compare to the infinity 6x8 2-ways? It seems like the reviews on the infinitys over at best buy are a lot better than the alpines.

This is a review I found over there:

Pros: sounds great even loud, nice and crisp
Cons: I can only fit 4 in my truck

"I just have to say, these speakers ROCK! I wired them up last night in my 2005 f-150.. took maybe all of 15 minutes, and they sound awesome. I'm running a Pioneer DEH 7900bt head unit w/the iPod, satellite, etc.. and (3) 10" JL w3 subs.. I've had JL, Focal, rockford, and alpine type r, and type s speakers in my trucks, and these are hands down some of the cleanest, clearest speakers I've run to date.. DEFINATELY worth the 100 bucks for them.. stop what you're doing and buy some now.. you won't regret it!"

Just to confirm:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1134701298196

Are these the correct speakers for an '04 F150 XLT SCab? Front and rear? I can't find 6x8's.

KiCk *** FX4,

Do a search on here for the infinity's. You will see that most of us will advise against them (as nicely as I can put it).

Good luck, the type S's wont dissapoint if powered off of a headunit. They actually sound nice with there rms power as well.

Hope this helps,
