rear door speaker removal?

i have a 07 screw and im trying to remove my rear door speakers. i bought some low buck replacements to use for a while untill i can afford good speakers and an amp. i did a search and im getting conflicting info. does the speaker cover in the rear just pop off or do i have to remove the whole door pannel? either way, what is the best way to approach this?

Come on guys there it's not rocket science.

Just take the little screw on the bottom and pull it out starting from the bottom.
I have an 2008 XL (08 XL) and I have a pair of 6/9 in there.
The JBL P953 with the huge magnets and they fit good after my dremel passed there.

good luck
