Yeah, Im pretty sure I could pull it off. Ive been meaning to try it for a long time but havent gotten around to it ever. Maybe once it gets warm I will actually have a chance at it.
Nice clean job crewwzin, simple and effective. I likey
Bartak, you should buy a bit and experiment with small projects.
Its hella easy, and soon enought youll be like me, too many things boggling in my mind with not enough time nor resin to build them all.
remember though, wear long rubber gloves, watch out for glass in areas that are exposed on your body, dont touch resin then go pee, and above all....
IF you glass, dont expect to get freeky with the wife/girlfriend till its ALL washed off!
Glass on the fingers is a NO NO! I learned my lesson!

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Theres quite a bit of installation talent on this site, and its an honor to be listed as "a Ford guy" with all of you.
Bartak, if you want to, I could build some panels for you as well. If its something that would interest you, get up with me.
I just found this article again and decided to show where the inspiration came from.

This pic in particular is what I was going for, but I didnt get it quite right. Yours could look something like this one, Bartak.

Nice work by the way...
I def. gotta try something like that.
Do you guys know if they make any type of 'carbon fiber' looking stuff that you could put on something like that. Might not look to bad, as it would match the carbon fiber look that is on my door panels...

Bartak, you could go the super 'spensive and somewhat difficult way and do a carbon fiber overlay on top of the glass work. Not easy, and from what I hear, not fun neither. But its damn well worth it in the end. I personally have never worked with CF.

Why doors and not kicks? The door panels seemed to just lend themselves to something custom like this....and I really didnt feel like sitting down and taking the time to figure out how to make kicks work with all the stuff thats in the way down there. You might say I "caught a case of lazy". But its all ends to a means.
