new system

im getting my little bro a small system for christmas and i need to make sure that i know what all i need. i installed mine a while back so i know how to do it. so far i think im getting him a 10" kicker comp sub. its like 300w. i still dont know what amp to get though. my amp was given to me so i havent ever had to actually shop for one. ill be building the box myself. so besides the box, sub, amp, and wiring kit, is there anything else ill need? and what amp would be the best for his sub?

thanks in advance

Something that puts out 150W RMS at 4 ohms. 2ch would be best... CHEAP!!

If he has the factory deck an LOC.

you can go with a kicker 200.2. that would be more than enough.
