I've read great reviews on these and at $105 a pair sounds like a deal.
Anyone have these? Will I hear much improvement with my stock head unit from my stock speakers? (6cd mp3 non audiophile head unit).

I had them. I think an ok speaker for the money, I think infinity is one of the better mass produced brands. If your on a budget get them great speaker now if you really want to hear what music is supposed to sound like go rainbow, they are awsome and really not as much as you would expect. When I first looked into them I was like thats out of my price range, but then I got prices and they really arnt, not for the quality of the speaker.
+2 for rainbow

I'm on a budget so can't go with rainbow currently. I just want something that will sound better than factory. Down the line I want to get a DVD head unit and sub/amp combo when I can afford it.
Thanks for the input extremeethan

Stock sux, infinity is better, but everyone says they are a waste of dough. I ended up with Alpine's and they sound great. Speakers seem like an investment you don't halfass. Polkaudio, Boston's are a bit pricey but nice, Kenwood's are good, and cheap. Buy what you can afford, you will be alot happier than stock. Upgrading the head unit might be next to further improve things.

So I think I'm going to go with component speakers up front with a 4 channel amp running the front and back speakers with factory head unit. Down the line I will add a sub. Any suggestions for brands, rear sizes and amps? This is my first audio build so bare with me. Also, im not building a show truck, just want good sound for the money. Thanks for any help

6.5" rainbows up front using a 4channel with 2 channels bridged per side (or a 2channel amp)

stock 5x7's in the back powered of H/U

fade to the front minus about 2 notches

BTW: Low_e_Red. was my old license plate for my 2004 F150 Heritage. It was bright red and I was dropping it.
