Question what components are you running in yours?

i looking into throwing the cheap stock speakers out and adding comps. i have an old audioart 100ms to power them so i have plent of power i just need to know what brand(s) is the best for the money. i haer alot rage over the pg rsd65cs's. seems like a hell of agood comp. set for the money. another question will the 6.5's work in the doors? i realize there is 6x8's there now and do you have anough room for a spacer and excursion of the mid?

There is plenty of room for the spacer and excursion as you said. With most sets, you will have to make an adapter plate so that the 6.5's fit. Some guys have to trim a little off of the door panel to make them fit, but not a big deal.

As far as comps, what is your budget? Give us a price range and we will give you some ideas. It will all come down to what you like the best though.

Good luck,

I don't think anything can beat the Pg's based on best bang for the buck

budget is the hard part! if i get the pg's for that price i will get them. i used to be all into this crap back in the mid 90's and did quite well in competing in the 0-50 class on spl. if i remember right back then i had a set of ecplise comp's that i payed like 500 for but to read some of the posts on these site's it seems a little money goes alot farther than it used to as far as quality. i was going to say my max was around 300 but i want to stay as cheap as possible. i listen to all type's of music and also i will be running two 10's under the rear seat for sub's.
