need info will this sound good

i have a 01 supercrew king ranch with bucket seats, i plan on taking out the back center console and put 4 12"s in place of the console so this is what i have decided on what should i change or do to make it sound good, i listen to mainly rap some rock not much though

4 pionner premeir champion subs
http://www.millionbuy.com/piotsw3001d4.html

these are the boxes going to have 2 of them the bottom box downfiring into the floor and the other ontop of the bottom box firing up or is that bad having it downfire since its ported or no???
http://cgi.ebay.com/DUAL-TOP-VENTED-...QQcmdZViewItem

and the amp i am considering is a crunch 3000 watts it says thats rms is tht correct
http://www.millionbuy.com/crupzi30001.html

if you could tell me what the ohms are on the subs and will the amp power those 4 subs also is there any other options to this setup that will sound better or maybe even a little cheaper i have around 800 dollars to play with
or would 2 15's just be louder and sound better
and also will 4 12's ported or sealed sound better
sorry for all the questions just wanting to learn

those subs are horrible.

that amp is horrible.

honestly, find some higher quality stuff then those. that system will be very boomy but sound like absolute crap with no sound quality.

You wont fit 4 ported 12s in there, your best bet is 2-3 sealed subwoofers, whether they be 10s or 12s.

If you want it to sound good, have somebody build you a custom box, especially where you are gonna try to fit those subs. Pre-fab for s system like that, especially ported, is gonna sound like @ss.

Also, if you want to run multiple subwoofers and a high powered amp, your going to need to upgrade your electrical system etc. you will need more then 800 bucks too.

the kickers will be better then the pioneers, and since you're looking to just be really loud over having sound quality, the kickers will actually fit your game plan quite well.

As far as getting enough power from an amp in your budget, maybe look at the hifonics mono amps, they dish out a lot of power and dont cost tons like other huge amps do.

As far as boxes, ported will always be louder, but a ported box must be built to the exact specifications of the subwoofer to sound right, a pre-fab ported box will never sound great. if you want a pre-fab box, i strongly suggest you get sealed, if you have 4 subs it will be friggin loud either way. with 4 ported subs it will sound sloppier then hell anyways, go sealed.

you are going to want a new battery, the big 3 upgrade, and maybe a new alternator if you really plan to run 2000+ RMS.

ok thanks alot i am glad someone knos alot bout systems bc i dont lol but the boxes i was looking at are made for the kickers and i will prob go with sealed so it sounds better and takes up less space and is it a 100% have to upgrade the alternator and battery if so that will be too much aggrivation and cost and just not worth it, what if i put a cap in the system wont that take care of my problem
thanks

i looked at the hifonics amps and they are pretty nice, but do they not overheat and have cooling fans on them, and also will the 1600 model be enough to push the subs i dont want to underpower them they are rated 600rms a piece so thats 2400 will the 1600 work fine, also are db amps good and what bout ma audio amps, also could i get 2 amps like 2 1200watt rms ma audio amps so they get the right amount of power
just need to decide on amp i kno what subs i want
thanks

this is true. dont try to stuff 4 12s in there if they will not each recieve the correct amount of airspace for them. If you dont have enough airspace, just go with 2 kicker L7s, they will knock your socks off i guarantee you (very loud, not awesome sound quality at volume though). match two L7s up with that 1600 watt amp in a box like Pats and none of your friends' systems will compete, period. Dont try to stuff things if theres not enough room.

And yes you can rum multiple amps, but like i said, your electrical system will be very stressed, your headlight will dim badly at night, and you can cause damage to you alternator. so just be careful.

my 1200.1 amp will dim the lights at full volume. but i usually dont crank it out that loud

kicker L7s will need a little more power then my cheaper infinities tho

Yes you can fit 4 ported 12s in a CUSTOM center console. Because you only have to have one port... Multiple are possible but only one necessary. Plus you need a certain amount of space open near the ports.

You need to have myself or someone else do the math necessary for correct port size, length and tuning.

Pioneer = chit

Crunch = Hifonics = CHIT. (msall same company... maxxsonics)

You need a much MUCH bigger budget to do what you are trying to accomplish. Try around 2-3Gs. (To be done right)

It would be sick though...
