I would get the 2 l7's...

Who cares about saying that you have 4 12's. I went through a time like that when I first started driving, and trust me, if powered right, you will hear the 2 l7's pretty far away.

I would focus some of the money on making the rest of your sound system good. Just hearing loud base is dumb if you cant hear the words or other sounds. Get a nice set of speakers and amp them, you can only turn your headunit up as loud as every other speaker will handle.

Good luck,

If you start telling everybody you have 4 L7s, you'll end up with 0 L7s.

oops, forgot :o :o

for your budget, i'd really stick with just two subs. who cares if your friend has 4 weak 12s, you'll be that much "cooler" when your 2 12s out hit his 4. plus, get some decent subs and challenge him to a real audiophile competition, SQ. then see what he says...

You might want to think about amping the door speakers also. Like I said, you can only turn the volume **** up as loud as the rest of the setup will handle.

what would door speakers do for the system and also i am looking at speakers for the doors since u mentioned it they are the kicker series 6x9ks series thats the right size right, they are 90rms a piece and for the rear i am looking at kicker ks6.5 75rms, and put a amp to them a kicker zx350.2 and bridge it so its 350rms at 4ohms 87.5rms per speaker, and for the other part of my system i have decided on 2 12's l7's sealed seperate boxes, with a kicker 1500 watt rms amp will that be a good system
also in the future looking to put a jensen or someother brand of flip out dvd/cd/mp3 HU
thanks

i have decided to go with 2 l7's 12" subs in seperate sealed boxes with a 1500.1 kicker amp pushing them
will that sound good and how many db's should that hit
also in the future plan on putting in jensen uv8 flip out touchscreen
and putting new door speakers in more than likely unless anyone knows better door speakers for the money and i am going to power the doors up with a 350.4 kicker amp
will that sound really good
then when i get the extra money plan on doing another 2 l7's and another 1500.1 kicker amp
thanks

I still don't understand where you plan on putting all this stuff.

As to brand, have you considered Memphis Audio? I really like mine.
