Using speaker level inputs

Does it diminish the sound quality to use the speaker level inputs vs getting a line out convetor and using the RCA inputs?

I have a stock stereo and dont plan on replacing it, but i am going to get and amp with both inputs to power a subwoofer.

Any advice is appreciated.

It shouldnt be any different. You would use a line out converter if your amp didnt have high input. Some dont offer that feature. Save the money and use the high input. You'll be fine...

Good luck,
