SubWoofer Box Question!

Hey people, don't post much in this forum but read allot in it... My questions was my JL Audio 10W1's requires .625 Cu. Ft. air space. If there were in a box that had a airspace amount of .75 per sub would that be bad or sound like ****?

Would go a tad bit deeper, be a bit smoother and not be as quick but the difference is so minute that it wont matter... If you hear it it will be barely.

Well my current box is .60 per sub, and i know i can build one to reach .75 per sub. Just worried that it would sound like crap if on the JL Audio site it recommends .625, However i call a couple audio shops they said the 10W1 can get a maximum of 1.0 per sub. So im gonna try and build it....

If you got the time... Go for it. And let us know what you think. If you look, that .625 is probably the minimum rec vol for sealed. It will just sound different if you go a bit bigger.

Let us know what you think,

When you factor in your driver displacement, which Im going to guess is around .1 cu ft. then your damn close enough to what they recommend.

.75 - .10 = .65 cu ft.
