Infinity isnt that snazzy either. Its JBL scratch and dent (and I dont mean scratch physically like scratchy sound) The Kappa/KP series are okay/good. Reference.... thats a joke

Woot for Infinity

I should really stop this or people are going to start thinking I work for infinity and actually like them or something haha:o

I agree with ya on Pioneer. Alpine owns them in every way. I do like Pioneer head units for the most part, but I would still take an Alpine HU over a Pioneer any day.

OK Thanks for all the help, I am not limiting myself to Best Buy I would like to get as much as possible from them, but I do have a hook-up with a Car-Fi guy who can get me kickers.

A friend of mine did all that in an associates H3 with a custom box. Bangin system and clear as day! Oh and get the HU off the BBY/Pioneer Accomodations. 450 for d3, 850 for z2. I just hope you work on the floor...
OK I will most likely get the Pioneer HU Z2, but everything that you typed afterwards is not English language to me, lol. If you could break it down whats a 400.4 and a Type R, etc.?

Also for a HU I found a comparable Pioneer cheaper with mostly the same features and I happen to like the look of it better, what do you guys think?

Ya thats the D3 you get for about $450.

Rockford Fosgate 400.4 Its a highs amp
Type R - is speakers. The best BBY sells. 6.5'' is the size
Type R - Also a Sub. Again one of the best. 10" is the size
P3 - is a Sub again one of the best.

BTW for the person who said they worked at Best Buy, what discount did you get with Car Audio for speakers, subs, amps, and In-Dash Nav?

The reason I ask Is because I just started working their about a week ago so I will be eligible for discounts in about 20 days, so I dont quite know what Im eligible for.

That's weird I hate my Alpine HU. It's an older model 9856 dut still I hate it. I was looking at the Pioneer Premier 980-BT but thinking about something w/ a nav system and touch screen.

I work at BB too, and the discount on the car audio stuff is awsome. for example most of the HU are about half off for us, and type R 10's are like $100.

If you really want a deal the best buy brand subs (insignia) are a dollar an inch. You could load up you truck with 10 insignia 12's for $120

Im amazed at how many people look at those Duals in the plexi and immediately want them, also because they are cheap. Did you guys sell a lot in your area?? The BB near me sure sells a lot of them.
