Dang, I didn't realize the Dynaudios were at that price point, the euro conversion really sucks.

I'd go for Morel speakers http://www.morelhifi.com/ as an alternative to the more expensive Dynaudio's. Morel's will give you 99.9% of the performance of the dynaudio's at half the price.

Depending on the series, the Morel mids have massive 2" or 3" diameter voice coils, this is much better than the typical 1" to 1.5" diamter voice coil on mids from big box companies like JL, Pioneer, MTX, RF etc...
