10W7 in 02 Supercrew

What do you guys think about building a custom ported box to place a JL Audio 10W7 under the rear seat of a 02' supercrew? I already have the sub I just wanted to see if anyone has done this?

HAH good luck those subs are very deep i think around 8in. and they need alot of air space to sound good.

I think you'll run into fitment issues...not only the physical size of the sub, but the box size.

Well I spent a couple of hours taking measurements and drawing up a plan for a box, I figure that I will need a 3" seat lift. Which in looking at the seat mounting brackets I can make out of 3"x3/16" C channel. The sub needs around 11.5" if I mount it down firing, not gonna happen. But it looks like a forward firing configuration may work. Has anyone else tried or had experience with something like this?

As far as forward firing in one of these Screws...Brypink2 did it with dual 10W7s, that was in a new style Screw though...
