i wouldnt call the IDQ massive. my sub isnt a very good one or massive at all and it plays 20Hz test tones.
I really wouldn't go by the freq response

in cab gain makes that spec worthless anyway

Bartak forgot to mention that you have to put a little bit of food in the box depending on how long you plan on keeping the setup.

You guys are too funny!

Why not the Pioneer TS-SW2541D Shallow 10"? I think its a good alternative, it has good frequency response plus is at good price.

it is the 'cheaper' version of the premier sub. They are probaly the same w/ different labeling though.

Just because it says it can do something doesnt mean it does. Or if so under normal circumstances/parameters. 10Hz on a IDQ 10?!? That had to have been a 6 cube sealed box full with polyfill. Not really but you get my point. 150Hz is possible but that has got to be a tiny *** box. Or tuned for midbass.

(not being a ****) I keep getting accused of that...

i know, my point was that the IDQ will be hitting much lower frequencies than the Rockford Fosgate on the first page. the IDQ is optimal in a .6 cu ft sealed enclosure anyways. with poly fill in it, im one to believe it will hit 20Hz no problem. anything below that wouldn't matter, since human hearing cant pick it up anyways...
