CVT's or L5's you probably wont have room for L7's much less money for a [quality] big amp

Everything.

A lot. Your box is the biggest factor in how your sub is going to sound.

Im tellin ya though, if you want crisp, clean, kickazz SQ, I sure dont think I would be looking at Kicker I spose thats just me though....

kicker is the best i can get unless KEF is any good.....the Boston Acoustics discount only pertains to home audio

I couldn't be happier with this setup! a custom box for my ext.cab f150 from supercrewsound.com that fits right under my back seat and really makes the subs come alive when they hit cause the box is tight under the seat and not able to rattle around (I really recommend them for boxes just tell them what subs you will be putting in and they will make it happen), then i bought (2) Kicker CVR10's and a Kicker 750.1 amp. The bass is clean and punches hard!

You might be able to outfit a nice system from kicker, but there sub line is a little more geared towards spl and not sq. Plus I dont think that you are going to fit a l5 under the seat without a seat lift.

It is a shame that you only get a discount on boston acoustics for home, and not car audio, because they make some nice stuff for cars.

i think i am going to get 2 10" CVRs and some polk speakers, but i am not sure about the components

oh and another thing...i want the subs behind the back seats, people with the 01-03 screw will know that there is room behind it and actually i found a box that will fit that will be bigger than an under seat box

i use my truck a lot and throw a lot of stuff that i don't want in the bed in my back seats and i lower the seat quite a lot and i can't do that if i have the box under the seat
http://www.supercrewsound.com/shop/detail/11/43.htm

im thinking about the getting the kicker ZX-750.1 amp or maybe even higher

and with the HU, i can't find one that has a screen but is not a flip up that will fit my truck....i wanted the D3 but it doesn't fit

I don't think you're going to find a HU that doesn't have a flip up screen and will fit in your dash. I have the same truck you do (red and an XLT though) and the only thing I've found that has a screen on the face are the single DIN units with a 2-3 inch screen. You could probably find a way to make one of the double DIN units fit, but that would require some modification to the structural part of the dash on the inside.
