Finally Some Pics

Ok first off no laughing and snickering as its not a Ford. Several of you wanted to see my install progress on my new ride the 2006 Acura MDX. Check out my gallery for new pics of my install. I still have a lot of cleaning up to do with wires and such and the box needs to be carpeted. But so far, the sound is awesome. I am using the Arc 2100XXK now on the comps but, I have a 4050 that I may use instead, either bridged or active. Let me know some thoughts.

BTW...The sub enclosure actually fits back up in the factory location. In order to get airspace, I had to build a shallow box and use the factory location. I will take some pics of the outside of it when I pull it to put the carpet on.

That headunit install is clean! How do those cameleons sound compaired to the rainbows I stole from you? I'm in the wish stages of putting together a system in this 49 cadillac I'm rebuilding.

I am northeast of Tulsa. Couple of hours from Edmond or Stillwater.

I wish the headunit would sit a bit farther back. It does stick out a little but, it will not go in any farther, even with new holes, without hitting the back of the dash. I think the Chameleons are right in line with the Germs. The ability to mount them like coaxials is why I love them so much. Soundstage is nice and high up front. I am still toying with getting more power to them than the 100 watts I have now. I am even considering a 2500XXK for 270 watts or so per side. But, it's just a thought
