Ignore the first 5 post...
8's are going to be tight in our back doors I think. There isnt really decent way to get a baffle that an 8 will fit on....a pair of 6.5 subs would fit a whole lot better...

its possible, but will require a lot of work. probably better to stick with 6.5s (like Bartak said). i dont know how big the doors are on the red cabs.
maybe build a small enclosure for behind your seat that wont take up much space just put a nice 10 in it?

I'd go with 6.5 woofers in the door. You're pretty much going to have to build out and I'd question whether or not you'll get the door panel back on. Thing is the normal mounting depth is pretty shallow. Not terribly shallow but I don't dare slam my back doors with the windows down cause I can heard the glass hit against my MOMO's in there. Now if you're willing to pull out all the window junk and make the glass stay up permanent then you'd be pretty much home free to go with 8's or shallow 10's plus one hell of a load of sound deadener and fiberglass to make it sound good with out rattles.

Reg cab back doors....windows dont go up or down
Actually a decent mounting depth in there because of it too. If the windows did go down it would be damn near impossible.
Ill concur, 6.5's would be great. I know JL makes those subs and I think rockford does too. While your at it go to the hardware store and grab a big ol'e role of dynamat like material and deaden the living crap out of those doors. Its a little thinner but 3x cheaper and just as effective. Dynamat is a complete rip off.
