if i buy some afterkmarket door speakers will they sound a good bit better than stock if i dont have them hooked up to an amp and jsut run them off the factory HU?

Their will be a differance, but it will improve greatly with an aftermarket HU and using an amp. You can also improve the sound upon that by properly matching your HU, amp, speakers, subs, and wireing all as a set. Hope this helps you out. Robbie

 

At very low volumes it will be a decently nice improvent. If you like to listen to your music even moderatly loud, I wouldnt even think about it then.
Aftermarket speakers off a stock HU just dont work to well with the little amount of power you have available.

Im not a fan of aftermarket speakers off a stock HU at all. Hardly even off an aftermarket HU; myself....
