sub enclosure question

i have some old school kicker comps c10a 4ohm subs. I wanted to pick up the single enclosure from musicmooseaudio.com

specifically this one: http://musicmooseaudio.com/ford_f_150f_single.html

now it's saying the enclosure space is .70 cu ft

and from what i could find online the recommended is 1.25 cu ft with a minimum of 1.00 cu ft.

my question is how much difference is it going to be going with the smaller space? is it even worth using my old speakers, or should i just use the ones that come in the "loaded" model from musicmooseaudio ie: http://musicmooseaudio.com/f150fs_loaded.html

i basically just want some good bass again. nothing that's going to rattle the car next me at the red light!! lol

thanks!

$179 with shipping isn't too bad for the loaded box. How old and how hard have you pounded on your old sub?

lol..they're old...wow, i think i bought them in '96...so, yeah, pretty old...they've been pounded pretty hard, but they don't show any signs of age....meaning everything still looks in good condition..no cracks or anything..

it says 1.0 is the minimum, and your going to run .70. expect it to really suck up power to get loud, and it wont drop as low in a box smaller then recommended.
