how to bridge an amp properly
i have a 2 ch 1200 watt sony xplod amp, i was wondering how to bridge it, some people have both positive terminals hooked up, and others have a negative and positive hooked up, and others have the pos and neg hooked up and a wire connecting the other ops and neg terminals.
thanks
thanks
most amps have it printed on the heatsink which terminals to use. but, its usually the negative from the right channel and the positive from the left channel. no other connections are needed.

No idea what the BTL stands for.
Try throwing in a differnent pair of RCAs and see what it does...
You said 'subs' right?
Perhaps they are out of phase; pulling one i/p cable let's one run unmolested by the output of the other.

if your subs ar getting louder when you unplug the red rca cable because your subs are wired out of phase..... before you try bridging the amp try reversing the wires on one of the channels... alot of beople think bridging is end all be all of their problems... its really not tho
