where you guys runnin the power wire from your battery through the firewall in the 97-03's? after a new HU and speakers just got put in my truck, i ordered my sub and amp, and want to get her done without runnin it thru the door and getting gravel dust leaks...

 

IF you pull off your passengers side sill plate there is a grommet in the floor towords the front. Almost directly under the back edge of the kick panel. Goes straight to the underside of the truck and from there you can run it up ontop of the inner fenderwell to the battery.

 

check the amplifier section. lots of info

 

When i did mine i went over the engine and at the bottom there is a VERY accessible grommet and right through there.

 

Ran mine through the drivers side grommet above the foot pedals. Very easy!!
