I have 2 orion XTR3 12's and love them. I want them to go under my rear seat but need a lift. WHERE CAN I GET ONE? I work at a cabinet shop so i can build a box that will be perfect. I just dont know where to get those lifts. any other good info would be appreciated. PS.. where do yall put the amp at when you do it this way? THANKS FELLAS

Why can't you get a piece of (C-CHANNEL) what ever width you need from a steel supply house ? It would be dirt cheap and simple to make!

 

I have thought of that but what do you do about the center post support?? Doesn't that need to be raised up as well?


Plus what about the hardware(longer bolts) and the rear of the support?? Are there washers for that to be raised up too?



It'd be super sweet if somone posted up the kit pictures before the install.

 

i agree... my dad owns a body shop and my gf's dad owns a machine shop and i could build the brackets if i saw them and sell them to whoever for half the cost. i just wish i could get a pic. the center post is not bad... the seat has to come forward and up. If someone will hook me up with a pic ill have the body men build them out of channel iron. I want a 3" lift too. not 2.5" If anyone got some pics please post them. i will build them for everyone else too for half the cost. JUST NEED SOME PICS. 155 dollars is rediculous!!!

 

155 is a B$itch to pay and after that make sure to have a BIG hammer and drill.... fitment of the kit leave a lot to desire.... took me 2 full evening to install mind....

If you can find a used one it will save you a little money and kuckle meat, as its already been fitted.... LOL

 

well i ordered it. Im going to get my gf's dad to look at mine and get the specs and make another set of them except these will be 3". He owns a machine shop and said it would be cake to make them. i will get him to make me a few sets and sell them for like half that 155 cost. Because that price is rediculous.

 

I would definately be interested in a set of the lower cost version.

 

your amp will go behind your backseat, mounted to a thin MDF board which you will mount to the back wall of the cab.
