Ported box for screw

Does anybody make a ported box for a 04 screw. I want the jl box but I'm having a hard time paying $700 for a box w/ 1 4ohm svc 10 that's rated at 250 watts.

well it all depends on what sub u want andhow big it is, dont think there is enough air space for 2 tens to be ported though

I was thinking about using the 10w3v2 just a different box. Or maybe a kicker cvr, or id 10, memphis m3, dd10, etc. Can't decide on the sub or box really. I've been rididing the amps around for 4 weeks now in the tool box on the truck. I have a fosgate p325.1 rated at 247x1 @ 4 ohms and 400x1@ 2ohms. So I would prefer something I can run at 350-400 RMS @ 2ohms.
BTW I'm just running 1 for now.

well ive heard the kicker cvrs and there nice, the w3 is good but i dont think you ll have enough air space to port them, you can get a 2 1/2 seat lift and maybe have more air, theres is music mouse that has a box and a few other places that just drop in for 2 10s. i think the sub dept can be a max of 5 and 3/4in but with a seat lift u can fit 7in dept.

I was told the music mouse had troble w/ the sub hitting the floor. I'm going to e-mail supercrewsound and see if they have one or if the id10dv.3 would be better sealed.

theres not enough air space under the seat for a ported box. even if you did build one to fit under there, it will not sound good and becuase the box is so tiny, your tuning frequency would be really high (meaning your subs wont hit lower notes). sealed will sound plenty good under there.

i just bought the musicmoose box, i lifted my backseat about 5/8 of an inch using washers (like another member on here) and am putting a grille on my sub. it fits perfectly under the seat and it wont hit the floor with the grille there.

Check out Patman's sub box build. It will require som seating changes on your part, but you may be able to build it up a little higher to get your airspace, and still be able to port it like you want. Dont know how firm you are on having the bench seat in the back, but its worth a look.

Good luck

I'm in the process of making this box for my Screw. It has roughtly 1.60 cubic feet of interior volume. It's not complete yet, just in stage 1.

I talked to the guys at supercrewsound and they recomended the id10d4 v.3 for my truck. They give me a coupon code for 10% off to. They said that would be the best sub for me w/ the p325.1 (400w rms@2ohm) amp that I have.
BTW miaf150 that box looks good but I have a front bench seat so that wouldn't work for me.
