Rear Fill Concern

As we all know, the rear speakers in screw's doesn't sound very well. I was wondering has anybody tried to put midbass or a 6.5 subwoofer in the stock location to enhance the sound quality. I saw some interesting 6.5 subs on the elemental designs website. Just wondering what the outcome would be

don't waste your time money or effort with small subs in the door unless absolutley necessary or if you have them laying around. my old car was setup just like you described. front comps high passed at 100 up front 8" subs in the back band passed from 60-100 and 2 10s low passed at 60. sounded good but I didn't have to buy anything to do it. I wouldn't either since its really not worth it. stick some 10s under the seat and enjoy
