I have a 99 expedition with 2 12" MTX thunder 5500s. And I have this serious rattle inbetween my roof and the roof panel...it sounds like a piece of metal inbetween the two just rattle like crazy...I have removed my roof rack and I have even stuff towels in my ceiling vents to see if that would mute it lol. Has anyone else had this problem? or even know how to fix it? =D

 

Probably just your roof flexing. I would rip off the headliner first to see if there is anything up there that might be loose or if something is out of place. While you have the headliner off I would put a layer or two of sounddeading up there and that should help out quite a bit.
