Well Bart,

I just got it in last night at dark, took a little ride and had to turn the sub output level down on my AVN6600 from +3 to 0, this 12" sub is hitting much harder than the IDQ 10" in a .5 box, in fact, I would say its out hitting the IDQ 10" at haft power...

As to SQ, it clearer than the IDQ... I still have to go though my song list and check it out, reset the gain, also need to run the RTA on it to see whats its showing..

I got this sub bearly used from a guy on CA.com because it would not work for his install, so I don't even think it broke in yet, so I have to keep that in mind..

But in all fairness to the IDQ, the two subs are in a differant class and one can't really compare a IDQ to a Rainbow Profi...

I still like the IDQ 10" over the ED 11Kv2 10" and it a great sub for the $150.00 range....

This is a Quote from Don,
Tim,

Its one of the best sounding subs that Ive ever used/owned or installed. Although Im a bit concerned with the mix of its paper cone with the Germs metal midbass. It wouldnt sound bad per say, but may seem a bit 'off'.

As for ideal enclosure space .. 1.4 sealed.

Awsome That makes me want to try one of those out.

I always kinda though they would be a pretty good sounding sub, never hear much about them though.

You have your own RTA?? Lucky duck :P

I'm using a mic that came with my YAMAHA RX-V1600 Home Theater Receiver... its used for the auto setup on my receiver and seems the also work great with the RTA software....
the biggest think to look for is the feq range on the mic... a lot of real cheap mics have a range around 150Hz to say 12KHz, you will need one better than that...
