Ok fella's could use a lil advice on my system.
I have a 04 screw with a kenwood 4028(i think)headunit(haven't been up long)
I'm running infinity ref 5/7 speakers in all 4 doors, I bought them used for 40 bucks 2 yrs ago and they are starting to go out .

I was thinking of going with some components in the front doors and some 2 ways in the rear doors was thinking about running the front doors off of a small 2 channel amp I have a pioneer gmt 3000 ,a alphasonik 150 watt amp, and a mtx 421d thunder amp that i was just given.
the rear would be powered off of the headunit.

I have a kicker 10 in a proboxrocks box and right now the alphasonik is pushing it for now but I think the mtx would do better.

My budget for this is about 200-300 dollars for the speakers.

so rainbows are probably out of the question
Has anyone ever used cadence speakers would 6.5's fit? does anyne make a adapter ? for our doors??

You can use the 5.25" adapter plates which takes some creative mounting or better yet make your own out of MDF. I had some Polk MOMO 6.5's in my front doors using 5.25" adapter plates they sounded great. Not like Rainbows but still impressive once they were broken in. I can't say anything about cadence never heard anyone talk about them.
