Kicker L7

I saw a guy that had 2 12'' kicker L7 in his 2002 F150 at a show but he had them underpowered because the amp he was using was too small for the to L7, what would be a good amp to push two 12'' L7's that are rated at 700 watts rms or would some Kicker solo X 12'' would be better because they are over 1000 watts rms but what good amp with push those suckers?

a good 1000d or 1500d possibly. l7's are expensive to power but are insane.

be careful man, hifonics amps are very reliable and put out a ton of power. you put 1600 RMS into a kicker L7 10" your going to fry it. frankly if you throw 1600 RMS at both subs (800 each) they still might blow. ease up on the power gains for sure.

I have two kicker 12" l5 and in my super crew and they sound good and i have orion hcca 2400. But for the l7 the rms is 750 for each and i believe the solo x 12" is 2500 watt rms and 5000 peak.
