Best setup?

What will be the best set up for a 2004 F150 Extended cab FX4 for subs under $500. I was thinking of making a center console and putting two 12" alpine subs in there but i have little knowledge about the audio world. Thanks!

My goal is to get good bass while retaining some clarity to it. I listen to 60%rock 40%rap. The sound system is completely stock right now so I do know that I will have to splice the wiring into the door speaker.

Thanks

how far are you willing to hack cut and spend? I mean we could recomend anything from drop in 5x7's and a single 10 under the seat to hacking the doors away for 7" woofers and ripping the rear seats out for 4 15's

My budget is about $500 and I would like to retain all of the seats but loosing the rear middle seat would not be that big of a deal to me.

Thanks everyone!

The 3 18's in the bed is a little extreme considering i do motocross and need the bed space. bummer!

agreed. I'd go with the elemental designs 11k's and one of their amps and a supercrew sound box. Talk to patshea i know this used to be his old setup and he is trying to get rid of it maybe yall can work out a deal.
