Well, got my seat lift today and must agree, the instructions are flat out worthless....I'll play with it tomorrow evening....

parts express order is here also with jet black carpet and 8Ga. terminal cup, speaker mounting screws for MDF, speaker gasket tape....

Getting there, still got to go to Lowe's for MDF....

Pulled the back seat upper and lower this evening to get a idea on the install, test fitted the seat lift brackets.... Damn, did the designer even have a F150 not a single piece will fit without mods something.... unless I install the rail on top of the brackets to raise the upper with the lowers, thats what I'm going to do, more room and air flow on the amps

Need the get 3 pieces of flat bar steel .125 x 1.5 X 4.0 inches and mount on rear cab wall to catch the upper seat top clips, small dia. 3.0 inch bolts for the upper seat belt cover... simple enough...I hope....

Still working on it...
Made Custom Steel Brackets to catch the upper seat clips 2" X 4" X .125 Steel Flat Bar with 2- 1/4" Body Rivets
May unbolt that rusty bar and paint it black as you can now see it in between the seats...

Thanks Bart....

Bart, man, I must say, this is by far the worst fitting piece of Sh$t I ever installed in a truck or car that is custom made to be vehicle specific....
basicly 3 days to install, I know I'm ****, but damn.....

anyway, just took sizes for the box and getting ready to calc air space.. looks like 2.75" for Xmax and I'm going to route the box for recessed driver..
No way this driver going to be anyway near the carpet....

So when will you get around to building that box?

Also...off topic, but I just noticed your seats are black and everything else is grey Did it come like that or did you put the leather covers on? I want leather in my reg. cab...

I installed them about a year ago, OEM Black Leather takeoffs from Ebay, they are not hard to install at all, also installed seat heaters on the fronts while I had to covers off.....

working on box details as we speak.... should be cutting MDF Tuesday evening, or at lease, thats the plan...

I got the box designed, been though 3 revisions this week using cardboard and plexiglass templates, but I got it pegged now, I think...
Only thing i'm in question on is the leg, I want 2 3/4", but its looking more like 2 1/2" for fit... I'll make 3/4, can trim off to 1/2 if needed....

I'll start building this weekend.....

Looking good...I think you forgot to add the volume of the sub though
Depending on how much space your sub takes up you might end up with only a 1.3 cu ft box after displacement. You can always add a little width, I really wouldnt worry to much though.

Or maybe you do have it figured in and I just dont realize it.

I wouldnt worry to much about the leg height either. I think I only have 2.5 or 2.75 inches between my box and my floor and have zero problems with it.
