Yea it is pretty spiffy. Odd power ratings though:

RMS Power @ 14.4V: 50W x 1 @ 4 Ohm, 3600W x 1 @ 2 Ohm
RMS Power @ 17.0V: 75W @ 4 Ohm, 4000W @ 2 Ohm

Still looks pretty good even with that hack job on the rear liner.

the 17.0V is if your running 16.0V batteries for competition.

Never thought of doing this! Is there a special bolt (alloy wise) that should be used?

Just your standard ol' bolt and nut-if its conductive it will pretty much work. Works like a charm, better that those d@mn terminal cups.

Course you know not all terminal cups are created equal. Speaking of which I still need to order mine.

Some use a compression sort of like the better subs have. I wish KNU had Kompression style cups.

i run the gain 3/4 way up, it will overpower the q's so the amp is more than 2kw, i have enough bass to flex my dash and move the steering wheel, sounds awesome, i love FI subs.

Impact9 - thanks im glad you like my hack work

luke280 - i used a 5/16 stud and nuts for my speaker terminals, at the hardware store.

Dude that looks sweet, I bet it hits awesome! nice job!
If you have the bass up will it mess up the PS2 while in use?
Also great idea on the bolts.

Regarding the amp being mounted to the rear wall.
How come everone cuts out the carpet? I'm about to install my stuff next week and was just curious.
Is it a fire hazard? will it cause the amp to hold in to much heat? It seems like if your not adding dynomat or something that you would want it for sound deadining?(sp?)

Did you record the dimensions you used for the box? I am doing something similar in my 04 screw.
